- Utilizes the multidisciplinary assessment to participate in the development of a comprehensive individualized service/recover plan.
- Thoroughly completes and submits appropriate reporting forms to UM when due.
- Completes all necessary documentation according to policy and procedure; ensures individuals meet eligibility criteria or refers to appropriate provider in the community.
- Assists communication during scheduled doctors' visits and assists with patient medications.
- Responsible for keeping all charts in compliance to set standards.
- Link and serve as advocate with other agencies to garner needed resources for individuals.
- Provides assistance and support in crisis situations.
- Ensures individuals are seen per utilization guidelines and per the designated frequency as stated on the treatment plan.
- Actively participates in multidisciplinary treatment/recovery team meetings.
- Maintains therapeutic professional boundaries when working with individuals and families.
- Licensed as a RN in the state of GA.
- One year or more of mental health experience preferred.
- Computer, organizational and teaching skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Bi-lingual abilities a plus

Crisis stabilization services are a first-line alternative to hospitalization in state hospitals, providing psychiatric stabilization and detoxification for adults age 18 and over on a short-term basis. Highland Rivers has three crisis stabilization units (CSUs) that operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as emergency receiving and evaluation facilities. The CSUs are available to residents of all 12 counties Highland Rivers serves.$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR FULL-TIME CANDIDATES
