Description
Job Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for performing budgeting, financial analyses, scenario analyses, business case development, and other ad hoc analyses and projects.
Real Estate or Restaurant experience is required
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare financial models for rental properties, hotels, restaurants & bars.
Work closely with Operations to develop budgeting and forecasting models.
Assist in the preparation of semi-annual budgets.
Quarterly investor reporting.
Statistical analysis related to hotel and rental operations.
Preparation of executive summaries for management team in the form of dashboard, data graphing, and PowerPoint presentations.
Custom report writing in FRx and Excel.
Special projects are an integral part of this position.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
Minimum of 2-4+ years related experience and strong technical knowledge of Excel
Strong research, analytical skills, pro-active problem solver and self-motivated to perform tasks above and beyond responsibility
Previous experience with cash flow reporting in the real estate industry
Multi residential or real estate experience preferably.
Advanced skills in preparation, manipulation and organization of Adobe PDF files
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Must be capable of working in fast-paced, self-directed, and changing environment and must have the ability to meet strict deadlines
Past experience in FRx, MAS500, and/or Yardi also a plus.
