    The Finance Program Group, is responsible for the successful delivery of regulatory and cross-business transformational Initiatives as part of Citis Transformation. This role, as a member of the Finance Transformation Office, will Provide on-the-ground support to teams to help accelerate critical initiatives manage one or more critical projects within the Finance PG Initiatives, ensuring that best practices and Citi standards are utilized to ensure successful delivery in a complex, global environment.

    The Business Analyst position requires an in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and a basic knowledge of other areas to play a key role in all stages of project/program delivery, liaising between business users and transformation teams to exchange and capture information in a concise and logical way. The role requires excellent communication skills in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level, as well as an ability to conduct in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions that have impact beyond own area.

    Responsibilities:

    Impactful business analysis to support the delivery of key regulatory requirements. Responsibilities and priorities will reflect the needs of specific workstreams and will evolve over time, however the following are some of the specific responsibilities expected of this role:

    Gathering and documenting business requirements

    Developing individual project artifacts as necessary including Business Requirements Documentation (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documentation (FRDs), test planning and scenario documents for user acceptance testing (UAT), project plans as required for all key technical deliveries.

    Day-to-day management of individual project responsibilities including milestone setting, task and actions management, co-ordination and execution of plan within required timelines and to stakeholder quality expectations.

    Providing implementation / post-implementation project support

    Foster and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, support, testing and development team members.

    Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.

    Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

    Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

    Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

    Knowledge, Experience & Skills

    Appropriate industry knowledge

    Knowledge of Project Management and/or management reporting and analysis.

    Strong communication skills

    Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.

    Self-motivated with a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

    Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.

    Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

    Possesses a comprehensive understanding of own area and how it contributes towards achieving business objectives.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or other business related field of study

    6-8 years of relevant work experience

    Appropriate industry knowledge & delivery track record.
