    • Create a care culture.
    • Create a positive customer experience by completing calls correctly the first time with quality and care to applicable codes and to Hiller standards to avoid refunds and recalls ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Communicate the benefits of Club Memberships.
    • Complete understanding of different types of piping and fittings, copper, pex (expansion and crimp), PVC, cast-iron, black steel and trac pipe.
    • Confirm pipe system is air/watertight by performing pressure tests.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure appropriate job objectives are met effectively and completely.
    • Cut, thread, assemble and install pipes; connect valves; caulk joints; and test finished job by allowing water to flow through correctly.
    • Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of install.
    • Follow State laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes.
    • Install plumbing systems, water, sewer, drain, fixtures, and water heaters according to professional standards and codes.
    • Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.
    • Mentor and develop team members and apprentices under his/her care to achieve desired performance metrics.
    • Properly connect gas lines as needed to fixture and equipment.
    • Record all material used or consumed on the job for job costing and replenishing.
    • Report any safety issues to team lead, supervisor, and / or manager.
    • Submit purchase orders to dispatch or other designated purchasing team administrators.
    • Train, coach, and mentor Plumbing apprentices.
    • Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    $20 - $30 an hourKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:


    • A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
    • A minimum of two years' experience preferred but not required in installation, service, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting plumbing service issues.
    • A valid driver's license and approved to drive by the Company's insurance carrier.
    • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
    • Must be highly organized with good attention to detail and follow through.
    • Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
    • Proficient in using a computer, tablet, smart phone, read maps, and Global Positioning System (GPS).
    • Team player working in a team environment.
