    Description


    For more than 100 years, the Oatey family of brands has included some of the most recognized names in residential and commercial plumbing products.

    We are seeking a dedicated *Material Handler* to join us at our distribution center in Cleveland, OH.

    In this position you will be responsible for pulling orders, ensuring we have the right inventory and getting our products shipped on time and in full.

    *Positions available on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.

    1st shift schedule is as follows: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

    2nd shift schedule is as follows: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm

    3rd shift schedule is as follows: Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 6:30am


    Responsibilities:
    Work with a safety-first mindset, including using company provided PPE

    Accurately process all customer and replenishment orders, ensuring daily safety, quality and performance goals are met

    Maintain quality and accuracy by reviewing pallets before shipment and partnering with the quality control team

    Establish and maintain effective working relationships by living the Oatey Values of Collaboration, Integrity, Respect, Courage, Leadership and Excellence


    Qualifications:
    High school diploma or equivalent

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to use various equipment, including stock picker, forklift and/or reach truck

    Experience collaborating with teammates to complete projects and tasks

    Meet the companys weight limit to wear required safety tether for picking at elevated locations

    *Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience operating an electric pallet jack (walkie) and/or RF scanner

    Experience in a warehouse setting using the following equipment: stock picker, forklift and/or reach truck

    Active and current forklift operator authorization

    Proficiency with Microsoft office suite: Excel, PPT, Word

    SAP ERP or WMS experience

    Demonstrated ability in proper freight handling and knowledge of all hazardous shipping rules and regulations
