Project Manager-Aviation Construction - Los Angeles, CA

Job summary
We are seeking to engage project management professionals ranging from mid to senior level talent in the aviation construction market sector We are ideally looking for candidates with prior aviation experience ideally with prior experience with any of the following project types baggage handling Wayfinding terminal expansion terminal renovation and civil and utilities
+Responsibilities
- Manage stakeholders including architects engineers and supply chain to deliver compliant projects .Can analyze track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
- Verify that effective project governance processes and systems are utilized Ensure application of best practice on all projects Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications Forecast update key project milestones Manage monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria Provide technical support to owners architects general contractors regional stakeholders Rapid response RFIs field Provide expertise cost control value engineering constructability guidance where required Independent review status reports drawing submittals timelines costs from architects contractors suppliers Client management assist developing excellent working relationships Clients view maximizing new opportunities Strategic Thinking provide advice approaches successfully achieve both clients objectives business objectives Knowledge management ensure key information learnings generated each captured Process improvement Identify ways improve internal systems processes SOX control responsibilities part role which adhered applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree construction management architecture engineering or field related construction Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience Prior aviation experience required Strong organizational management skills ability work effectively collaboratively broader team Effective presentation skills Proficiency Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Procore construction Project Management tools Excellent communication skills
