- Review completed projects and create Xactimate supplements for any items outside of the initial roofer's scope of work (items omitted, overlooked, under paid, or discovered after work begins)
- Create supplements (identify each item to be supplemented, provide an explanation and in some cases, support findings with pictures)
- Present the items for supplementation to the insurance company, negotiate as needed and regularly follow-up on those submissions until approval/payment
- Establish strong rapport with homeowners and insurance adjusters and keep all parties fully informed of claim details
- Gather, prepare and organize job estimates, job-site sketches, job-site photos, insurance documents, and related billing documents
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Thorough knowledge of Xactimate
- Familiarity with building codes, laws and regulations
- Ability to quickly define the scope of the project and properly estimate supplemental materials and costs
- Ability to perform measurement estimation
- Effective negotiation and communication skills
- Highly organized multi-tasker who can balance several projects at once while meeting assigned deadlines
- Self-driven, dependable, and a team player
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace
