    Judson Group has been retained by a fee-only, independently owned RIA with over $1.5B AUM in the search for a Lead Client Advisor to take over existing client relationships as part of a succession plan and capacity creation hire. The Lead Client Advisor at this fully virtual RIA is responsible for leading planning and investment work for assigned clients with support from client service team members.

    The ideal candidate has great experience working with clients in the $1-10MM range, knowledge of financial planning, capability of delivering the firms investment message, and organically growing a client base through referrals and other activities. Success in this role is dependent on top notch client service and not business development. The firm has great tenure among employees and a path to partnership. The position is fully remote with travel to the firms home office in Palo Alto one to two times per quarter. We are considering candidates in Mountain or Pacific time zones only with a preference for metro areas.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain client relationships as the primary relationship manager for HNW clients.
    • Introduce holistic financial plans and investment management needs to current and prospective HNW clients.
    • Prepare for and attend meetings with current clients and prospects.
    • Work with clients to ensure action items are thoroughly executed and documented.
    • Participate in business development initiatives through COIs, referrals, and community events.
    • Effectively communicate wealth strategy, planning solutions, and value proposition.
    • Gather client data including financial constraints and goals.
    • Work with various firm members to ensure the clients financial needs are met.
    • Work with client support team to provide an exceptional client experience.

    Requirements:

    • 7+ years of wealth management experience preferably with exposure to complex investment and financial planning strategies for HNW/UHNW relationships.
    • Bachelors degree required; MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
    • Current designations highly preferred: CFP, CFA, CPA
    • Must have Series 65 or be willing to obtain immediately up hire.
    • Strong investment knowledge.
    • Exceptional ability to create and present various financial plans.
    • Successful business development track record required.
