    Description

    Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

    FLSA Status: Non-exempt

    Shift: Monday-Friday, typically 8am-5pm

    Reports to: Clinical Manager

    Department: Clinical

    Employment Status: Full-Time | Part-Time | PRN

    Supervisory Responsibilities: No

    Location: All market areas

    Summary

    Provide direct patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse in a clinical setting.

    Qualification Requirements

    To excel in this role, an individual must be capable of participating in patient assessments, employing critical thinking skills, and demonstrating sound decision-making abilities.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Current LPN license in North Carolina
    • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience
    • Current BLS or ACLS certification
    • 2 years of preferred Nephrology experience
    • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings
    • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Proficiency in basic mathematical operations

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and data management platforms
    • In-depth understanding of key concepts and principles in the field
    • Strong interpersonal skills for quality patient care
    • Effective organization and multitasking abilities
    • Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality principles
    • Competence in medical ethics and communication
    • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
    • Ability to follow instructions accurately
    • Attentiveness and excellent communication skills

    Supervisory Responsibilities: CMA and UAP

    Physical Demands

    • Requires good hearing, vision, balancing, and fine motor skills
    • Extended periods of stationary work and repetitive tasks
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

    Work Environment

    The job is based in a typical office setting with moderate noise levels. Regular requirements include standing, talking, and listening.
