- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent.
- 4 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel as determined by the needs of the business
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.

- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
- Performa variety of advanced tests, processes, and procedures, which require the selection and application of routine to complex X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) technologies.
- Willingto conduct routine and non-routine analytical techniques to support production, development and research.
- Possess hands-on experience with XRF instruments with the ability to provide technical solutions to complex problems.
- Assist other scientists, engineers, and technicians with a variety of day-to-day recurring tasks.
- Possess a strong customer-service focus, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers who have limitedknowledgeof XRF techniques.
- Possess a willingness to work either as an independent investigator or as a member of a multi-disciplinary cross-functional team, depending on the nature of the situation.
- Possess the ability to generate accurate and precise analytical data, interpret/analyze data, prepare formal reports, and make formal presentations of results, conclusions, and recommendations.
- May lead teams in problem-solving efforts.

Summary
This position is responsible for a variety of professional level engineering or scientific responsibilities. Uses advanced knowledge of engineering or scientific discipline, processes, and tools to complete and ensure compliance of various project subtasks.
