Join our vibrant team as a Florist/Cashier, where you will bring beauty and joy to our customers through expertly crafted floral arrangements and exceptional retail service. This dynamic role combines creative floral design with friendly customer interactions, ensuring each visitor leaves with a smile. You will be responsible for creating stunning floral displays, managing sales transactions, and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Your enthusiasm for gardening, horticulture, and floral artistry will help us deliver memorable experiences and elevate our store's ambiance.
Responsibilities
- Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements tailored to customer preferences and seasonal themes, utilizing your floral design expertise.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related products, offering knowledgeable recommendations on floral care and gardening tips.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales transactions, handle cash and card payments, and manage cash handling procedures securely.
- Maintain well-stocked shelves by organizing merchandise, replenishing floral supplies, and ensuring attractive displays through effective merchandising.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries in multiple languages if applicable, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming shopping environment.
- Manage inventory levels through stock rotation, stocking new arrivals, and conducting regular stock checks to ensure product freshness and availability.
- Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards while assisting with general gardening or landscape maintenance tasks as needed.
