    Job Overview & Responsibilities
    • As a member of the Launch Operations Engineering and Infrastructure - Operational Facility Systems, responsibilities include the testing, operation, and maintenance of industrial process systems, including Environmental Control Systems (ECS) and facility HVAC systems used at all ULA Launch Sites.
    • Position is located at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
    • Position will focus on Environmental Control Systems engineering; support launch operations and major operational systems testing, at the launch site and in the launch control center, operating mission critical ECS/HVAC systems, and industrial controls supporting the launch vehicle and the spacecraft.
    • Develop new and revise existing operational test procedures, schedules, and maintenance documentation associated with the Spacecraft and launch vehicle ECS.
    • Support of technical staff and contractors in the installation and test of ECS, mechanical and plumbing components and systems.
    • Support of technical staff working new development activities supporting Next Generation Launch Systems, customer funded special studies, mission unique modifications, or other major facility modifications and/or system upgrades.
    • Develop and coordinate technical portions of proposals, statements of work and contract specifications.
    • Apply knowledge of regulatory and certifying agency requirements to ensure product and/or service is in compliance.

    Bachelor

    Required Years of Experience

    Minimum of 2 years of related work experience

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university.
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Engineering work experience with Commercial and Industrial HVAC.
    • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office products like Excel, Word, Power Point and Project.
    • Experience with Computer Aided Design software such as Revit & AutoCAD.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or chemical engineering is preferred, will consider electrical engineering with appropriate work experience.
    • Professional experience in Aerospace environmental control systems operations and maintenance and/or equivalent industrial process systems is preferred.
    • Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, ASME, ASTM and Range Safety requirements is preferred.
