About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bartender to join our team in a high-rise, residential community location. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring the quality of our drinks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare Drinks: Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
• Serve Wine/Champagne: Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
• Maintain Bar Area: Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Stock Supplies: Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Restock Liquor: Restock bar with liquor and supplies.
• Transport Supplies: Transport supplies to bar set-up area.
• Wash Glassware: Wash soiled glassware.
• Clean Bar Top: Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area.
• Anticipate Replenishment Needs: Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
• Process Payments: Process all payment methods.
• Count Bank: Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes chaotic, especially during the busiest hours. The position may be located in a hot, noisy, and stressful environment.

Physical Demands:

• The employee will be standing and walking for most of the shift.
• The ability to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less.
• The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Education: High school diploma or GED.
2. Experience: Prior experience working in a restaurant, as a bartender.
3. Knowledge: Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and familiarity with standard drink recipes.
4. Licenses/Certifications: Must maintain an applicable state health and/or alcohol compliance card.
5. Age: Must be 21 or older.

Estimated Salary Range:

$40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
