- Bachelor or Masters degree in a numerical discipline (Maths, Economics, Physics) from a reputable university
- 4+ years experience as a gas trader/natural gas trader in a competing firm, with a proven track record in trading key US gas hubs
- Strong commercial acumen
- Process driven with good problem solving ability

Top commodities trading firm with a strong presence in energy markets is looking to hire a distinguished gas trader to join the firms' growing trading team in its Stamford, CT office.
The role will involve a combination of working on improving existing models and trading strategies, along with the opportunity in the more medium term of working on new ideas within the natural gas domain.
This is a great opportunity for a reasonably experienced trader to take on a role with end-to-end ownership of important mandates, in a firm founded on the principles of meritocracy, collaboration and impact.
