    As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Weekends in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide clear customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and adherence to AU Driver Policy requirements.     Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
    • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
    • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
    • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors, and report security-related concerns according to post orders.
    • Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • A minimum of 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
    • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
    • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
    • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
    • Customer service experience is preferred.
    • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
