    Our Opportunity


    Our solution engineering specialist team is looking for a new member to bolster our Application Security practice area, including Snyk Code and Snyk Open Source products.

    The Solution Specialist is a subject matter expert in Application Security testing (SAST, SCA, DAST, etc).

    Specialists partner closely with pre-sales teams, but their expertise and ability to deliver anything from a deep dive into technology to a compelling session for C-level executives is also leveraged in cross-functional initiatives with departments like Product, Engineering, Marketing and Enablement.


    You'll Spend Your Time:
    Partnering closely with Account Executives & Solutions Engineers on large deals throughout the deal lifecycle

    Progressing deals of all sizes by addressing customer's technical concerns through deep-dive sessions

    Working closely with Snyk's sales leaders to drive revenue through new sales campaigns, better product differentiation, and removing deal-specific roadblocks

    Leveraging technical expertise to unblock both pre-sales and post-sales account teams behind the scenes

    Contributing to Snyk's global Solutions Engineering community of practice through influence, relationship and ongoing mentorship of individual solution engineers

    Capturing, distilling, and prioritizing field feedback and sharing with the Product team

    Collaborating with Product & Engineering on upcoming capabilities

    Building influential productive relationships with engineering, product, and product marketing teams to address gaps, double down on strengths, and steer product direction

    Working closely with the Enablement team to ensure all new capabilities and limitations are captured & communicated with the Solution Engineering team and beyond

    Creating innovative content on product positioning, differentiators, and best practices for Snykers, business partners, and customers

    Creating and confidently delivering technical presentations internally and externally

    Speaking and engaging large audiences (50+ attendees) both in-person and in a virtual setting - internal & external

    Continuously optimizing operations and coordinating resources of a small team to support the majority of deeply technical engagements worldwide

    Creating new tools and approaches where necessary for optimal customer and product delivery of Snyk solutions

    Working on thought leadership content, external marketing, blogs, and whitepapers to help build a pipeline for Snyk solutions

    What You'll Need:

    3+ years experience in a role with a customer-facing element

    Software development experience (professional, academic or hobby)

    Hands-on experience reviewing or fixing vulnerabilities identified using SAST or SCA tools (either professionally or in personal projects)

    Outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills

    Participated in, or led cross-functional teams on key projects

    Have strong written and spoken English

    Love to teach and coaching is a habit

    Understand people and what makes them tick, care about diversity and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life

    Create alignment, rally resources and delight stakeholders

    We'd be Lucky if You:
    Experience developing enterprise applications

    Experience or certifications in the area of Application Security

    Leveraged generative AI in software development

    Track record of delivering compelling presentations to both internal and external executives

    Are fluent in any of these languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, German or Japanese
