- Operates & evaluates all process and metrology equipment within assigned area, upon successful completion of certification by trainer and engineer.
- Assures equipment meets all qualification and maintenance schedules as required by specification before processing product.
- Evaluates both product and qualification wafers through measurement and/or visual inspection. Responsible for accurate entry of that data into workstream system for assessment of processing using SPC controls.
- Escalates any failure of product and/or qualification wafers to engineering for evaluation.
- Escalates any process or metrology equipment errors to the equipment technicians for repair and recovery.
- Follows safe work practices and procedures to assure the safety of oneself and others, Escalates any safety violations or concerns to supervisor to address.
- Responsible for proper disposal of any and all waste generated on site as required by Cleanroom Protocol specification.
- Must be able to carry pods weighing up to 12 pounds using two hands repetitively over a 12 hour period. Must be able to pick pods from and place pods to storage racks ranging in height from the knees to the shoulders.
- Must be able to push/pull carts of pods ranging from 50 to 100 pounds as necessary for transport of material from one area to the next.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended time periods during a 12 hour shift.
- Must be able to comply with clean room specifications that require all technicians to wear a clean room suit, including hood, mask, protective eye-wear and clean room boots.
- Manual process areas (CMP, Sort, BGBM) also required to grasp cassette handle with one hand while supporting cassette, weighing up to 12 pounds, with the other hand to manually load process equipment in the area.
- Must have basic computer skills needed to run automated process controls.
- Must be able to make calculations required for data entry to SPC controls, using a calculator as needed.
- Must be able to visually inspect wafers, pods, process tools, etc. for evaluation of processes.
- Must be able to read and comprehend specifications to achieve certifications required for technician duties.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team, supervisor, and support personnel to achieve productive goals while maintaining commitments to the safety and quality of the workplace.

Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
Jireh Semiconductor in Hillsboro, OR is looking for several entry-level Manufacturing Technicians for their Semiconductor Fab. This position performs functions associated with all wafer production operations, including photolithography, thin film, etch, BGBM and diffusion. Performs set-up, calibration and preventative maintenance tasks on wafer fabrication equipment. This posting is for back-end nights (details below).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Temp to hire opening 6-12 months, conversion based on company needs as early as 180 days. This position will be staffed by an existing agency partner.
Shift Details:
D shift Back Nights Wed-Fri every other Saturday, 15% shift differential
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
No experience required.
(Preferred) Experience in a fast-paced environment.
(Preferred) AA Degree or higher, 1 yr +. experience.
