The Burton Center is hiring a motivated individual for the role of Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) in Greenwood SC This is a full-time position with the hours of Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm and On Call hours as well.

As a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional QIDP you will manage the operations of two Intermediate Care Facilities ICF This includes the development supervision and implementation of each individual's Active Treatment Plan ATP Ensure that each individual receives intensive effective training needed to reach their fullest potential Supervise staff members follow guidelines procedures established by OIDP Burton Center to meet needs health safety on daily basis

Supervise monitor operations in each ICF maintain records monthly review staff log entries ensure follow-up carried out Develop implement monitors training programs behavior support plans individuals Schedule conduct team meetings regarding individuals' service plans distribute updated written plans to appropriate staff ensures progress reports recorded at least monthly service providers Ensure thorough in-service training provided supervise evaluate train staff providing direct care about individual's dignity right to privacy Advocate actively aggressively pursue program levels based on individual's needs care team recommendation Ensure personal property monitored cared documentation completed monthly Arrange appointments trips personal items needed Respond facility emergencies annually inspect safety protocols up-to-date timely Fire Marshall Sanitation Evacuation drills HVAC etc Coordinates nursing schedule develop nursing services coordinates transports administers medications if needed Works closely with others communicate effectively has positive professional outlook
