    Job Duties:

    • Execute annual Global PSM (process safety management) and US SH&E (safety, health, and environmental) audit plans.
    • Coach/mentor site personnel on PSM and SHE practices while conducting audits and assessments.
    • Collaborate with the sites and the Corporate SH&E team on audit corrective actions PSM implementation activities, Process safety performance improvement, KPI setting, and monitoring.
    • Coach/mentor guest auditors and other audit team members.
    • Track and interpret Global PSM and US SH&E regulations as needed. Implement audit best practices where identified.
    • Develop documented protocols and processes for the audit program to streamline Process Safety functions and reduce risk across Nitrogen & Phosphate facilities.
    • Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
    • Order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers' health or safety.
    • Investigate accidents to identify causes or to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
    • Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
    • Collaborate with engineers or physicians to institute control or remedial measures for hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions or equipment.
    • Analyze incident data to identify trends in injuries, illnesses, accidents, or other hazards.
    • Inspect specified areas to ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, or first-aid supplies.
    • Position requires domestic and international travel.
    • May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

    Job Requirements:

    Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Occupational Health & Safety or related field, and 10 years of work experience in the job offered or in a safety, health, or environmental auditing-related occupation.

    Alternatively, employer will accept 12 years of experience in the job offered or in a safety, health, or environmental auditing-related occupation.

    Position requires 5 years of experience in each of the following:

    1. Process safety, safety and environmental programs in manufacturing and production facilities;

    2. Audit processes and programs;

    3. Development and execution of Audit, PSM, and SH&E;

    4. Operational Integrity programs, processes and services;

    5. PSM and US SH&E regulations;

    6. Management System Structures; and

    7. Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, ETQ and Power BI.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    Salary Range $101,192.00 to $125,047.00 per Year This range is estimated for the SH&E Audit Manager Colorado Equal pay legislation. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
