Paul Davis Restoration of Rock Hill is seeking a presentable, skilled, full time (40+ hours), in-house painter/drywall person that is looking for a career.

Job DescriptionResponsible for matching colors, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to these surfaces. May perform touch-ups to the construction industry.
Job DutiesPreparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes or removing old paintMixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfacesHandling planning and prep work in an efficient mannerPreparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messesMoving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the projectCalculating the amount of materials and time required for said projectRemoving fixtures such as doorknobs and light switch coversTaping off areas as neededCleaning up supplies and replacing fixtures when project is completeSkills and QualificationsUnderstanding of Color Theory and Various Finish TypesAbility to climb laddersAbility to Carry Heavy Equipment (Including Painting Tools and Heavy Buckets of Paint)

Ability to Stand for Long Periods of TimeAttention to DetailExcellent Communication SkillsGood Customer Service SkillsStrong Ability to Follow DirectionsUse Of Digital Time Sheets on mobile phone.
