    As they continue to expand and innovate, we are seeking a skilled Senior Information Services Manager with strong experience in the logistics industry to lead technology initiatives and drive operational excellence across our companys network of facilities and operations.

    This key role will oversee the integration of technology solutions, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance supply chain performance.

    Position OverviewAs the Senior Information Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing technology solutions and driving process optimization across our distribution and fulfillment service environment.

    With oversight of the information services, hardware management and technology applications you will guide and manage the various teams involved to drive improved service levels to both internal and external customers.

    You will oversee the implementation and management of technology solutions, manage cross-functional projects, and collaborate with various teams to ensure operational efficiency.


    Key ResponsibilitiesInformation Services Management:


    Oversee the integration and management of technology solutions within the distribution centers, including hardware, data analytics, and compliance systems (Ex: EDI, Website, WMS, HRIS, ERP, etc.).Manage hardware resources, including laptops, phones, copiers, and other equipment, to support distribution center operations.


    Process Optimization:
    Lead process optimization initiatives to improve warehouse operations, lean practices, and labor standards.
    Implement and drive best practices with compliance requirements across the enterprise.

    Ensuring reports, data and dashboards are accurate, digestible, and effectively defending our company and our customers from the rising costs caused by poor performance in these areas.


    Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, programmers, and offshore resources, to drive technology initiatives and process improvements.

    Work with reports and data services, including compliance and collaboration with internal and external programmers and resources, to ensure operational compliance and efficiency.


    Project Management:
    Manage cross-functional projects related to technology solutions, process optimization, and operational improvements.
    Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

    Vendor ManagementThe role will be directly involved with managing relationships with technology vendors to ensure the procurement of suitable hardware, software, and services for the distribution center's technology needs.

    Customer and Prospective Customer ManagementThe role will be directly involved with managing relationships with Existing customers as well as the engagement of prospective clients.

    There is a clear path of communication to this role from the peers inside our customers organization. Experience is required in the handling of relationships such as these.

    Continuous ImprovementEmphasizing the importance of fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the distribution center's technology operations to drive efficiency and effectiveness over time.

    Regulatory ComplianceAddressing the need to ensure that technology solutions and processes comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, particularly in areas such as data privacy and security.

    Change ManagementAcknowledging the importance of effectively managing change within the organization, especially when implementing new technology solutions or process improvements that may impact employees' workflows.

    Risk ManagementHighlighting the role's responsibility for identifying and mitigating risks associated with technology implementation and operation, such as system downtime, data breaches, or operational disruptions.

    Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAdvanced knowledge of production machinery and job-related service delivery equipment and processes are required.
    Preferred familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Experience with process flow design and implementation.
    Proficiency in proper documentation for process flows, building layouts, projects management, and procurement ROI to obtain executive approval.
    Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
    Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    Preferably Six Sigma certification, demonstrating proficiency in process improvement methodologies.
    Strong technical writing ability, with the capacity to create comprehensive documentation.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address complex challenges.
    Capability to conduct presentations, facilitate meetings, and provide training sessions.
    Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    Willingness to work in a support role as needed on various projects.
    Work experience in a multi-shift operation environment is advantageous.
    Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering collaboration and synergy.
    Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet timely deadlines.

    Flexibility with work schedule to accommodate business needs.
    Equipment KnowledgeAdvanced proficiency in SQL query software and language, with the ability to retrieve and analyze data effectively.
    Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting techniques.

    Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with the ability to effectively utilize and manage such systems to optimize warehouse operations.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), with the ability to utilize these tools for various tasks.
    Proficient and advanced computer skills, including software applications and systems relevant to the role.
    QualificationsMinimum of seven (7+) years' experience in operations, logistics, or IT in a distribution environment.
    Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience.
    Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Alternatively, a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
    Project Management certification is a plus.
