Position Summary:
You will be responsible for implementing the business growth strategy and generating new opportunities within the (transactional) print market. In this role you will be reporting directly to the head of the Corporate Information Management group US and collaborate with your colleagues to ensure that business growth activities are aligned to corporate objectives and developing strategic proposals that will make the company successful and increase revenue.

You should feel confident approaching the senior management (C-level) of our targets and providing a consultative selling approach. The Business Development Manager is also expected to understand and execute expansion tactics and meet financial targets; they will also have a key role in marketing the company and supporting the strategic positioning of the company.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Identifying new strategic business opportunities, and take appropriate action
- Creating opportunities to meet with existing and prospective clients/commissioners
- Building on relationships with existing clients commissioning work from the company with a view to securing further business
- Securing new business
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of current and future potential market characteristics and conditions
- Where appropriate, prepare written responses to tenders, contribute to the completion of application processes, prepare and deliver pitch presentations
- Preparing regular management reports detailing new business, repeat business and opportunities to promote services in new markets
- Actively contributing to company marketing initiatives, identifying new opportunities, ensuring marketing is delivered and on track and highlighting where areas for development are greatest
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a Business Development Manager role with an emphasis on transactional print & fulfillment sales
- Experience in an Healthcare enviromnet preferred
- Experience successfully providing customized variable transactional solutions and support across industry disciplines including; Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM); Medicare (Part D) EOB; Government Agencies; Municipalities; Public Utilities; Consumer Loyalty programs; Private Insurance, Banking & Finance; Marketing Communications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Successful sales track record
- Competent understanding of related technologies and industry capabilities
- Time management, negotiation and planning skills
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
- Experience working closely with service delivery counterparts
- Proven track record of significantly growing existing accounts
- Highly organized, self-starter
Ability to work independently as well as an ability to work in a team setting.
