    The Program Administrator/Title V Grant Coordinator provides operational leadership for the Title V grant and coordinates activities to help SUNY WCC students, particularly those who are Latino and/or low-income, throughout their experience at the College.

    The incumbent will planand directgrant activities for effective use of Title V and institutional resources; workwith the Title V Director to ensure the project complies with Title V and SUNY WCC policies, coordinatemeetings and project personnel; participatein selecting new hires; contributeto fiscal, technical, and progress reports; facilitatean effective and objective evaluation of program components and their impact on SUNY WCC by working in concert with the Project Director and Project Evaluator.

    The Coordinator establishes and maintains active partnerships with other college officials and key community leaders to disseminate program information and to meet emerging community needs; leads the design, professional development, piloting, implementation and institutionalization of the expanded student outreach activities; and develops and implements an annual program of Student Success Workshops related to key touchpoints and topics.

    The Title V Coordinator also supervises a team of Success Navigators. This is a full-time, grant-funded, on-campus position.


    The Title V Coordinator:
    Providesoperational leadership for the Title V grant objectives;

    Coordinates activities to help SUNY WCC students, particularly those who are Latino and/or low-income, throughout their experience at the College;

    Works with the Title V Director to ensure the project complies with federal, state, Title V, and SUNY WCC policies;

    Coordinates meetings and project personnel;

    Participates in selecting new hires;

    Supervises a team of Success Navigators;

    Contributes to fiscal, technical, and progress reports;

    Facilitates an effective and objective evaluation of program components and their impact on SUNY WCC by working in concert with the Project Director and Project Evaluator;

    Establishes and maintains active partnerships with other college officials and key community leaders to disseminate program information and to meet emerging community needs;

    Leads the design, professional development, piloting, implementation and institutionalization of the expanded student outreach activities;

    Develops and implements an annual program of Student Success Workshops related to key touchpoints and topics.


    Requirements:

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in student development, counseling, education,or the planning and development of education, employment training or human development programs is required.

    The successful candidate will have knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to the administration of education and training programs and grants; knowledge of principles and techniques of administrative supervision and decision-making; knowledge of public administration; ability to plan and coordinate policies, regulations and procedures.

    Effective oral and written communication skills are required.

    Also required is proficiency in software systems including Microsoft Office applications, as well as a detail-oriented approach to data entry and tracking.

    The successful candidate will be able to relate well with students and colleagues, have strong project management and facilitation skills, and have the ability to work with a team of diverse faculty, staff and students.

    All candidates must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practice.


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
    Master's degree and experience coordinating and executing grant funded initiatives are preferred. Higher education experience, preferably in the community college sector are also desired. Bilingual verbal and written fluency are strongly preferred.


    POSITION EFFECTIVE:
    The position will remain open until filled.


    WORK SCHEDULE:
    The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. Some evening hours might be required with ample notice.

    SALARY &


    BENEFITS:
    This position is fully grant funded. The starting salary is $79,822. Additional compensation with seniority steps maximize at a salary of $105,944.
