    The Challenge


    Senior Director of Software Engineering of Privacy at OneTrust will make long-term strategic and technical contributions in data subject privacy governance and rights management .

    These individuals set strategic goals for the team, hire engineers, and prioritize projects. You'll be involved technically, too. Developing new products, identifying requirements, and executing with excellence.

    Your Mission

    Lead team by provid ing technical and solution direction, prioritiz ing key items to build OneTrust's privacy platform .

    Privacy product suite helps in increasing customer awareness, bring hidden privacy risks to light, provide a governance framework and help with end user policy and rights management .

    You Are


    Experienced overseeing end- to end -development activities while monitoring reliability and performance of all internal systems and suggesting improvements when required .

    You will ensure compliance with security regulations while managing software development projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelines.
    Designing strategies for future development projects based on the company's overall objectives and resource availability
    Implementing innovative technologies
    Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
    Providing technical oversight to your team
    Ensuring projects are delivered according to schedule
    Good at finding opportunities to improve development processes
    Experienced building out onboarding and mentoring programs to teach and train other engineers in order to incubate individual and team growth
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related technical field
    Minimum of 1 8 + years of engineering experience with a strong track record of successful development and delivery of complex, enterprise-class software that results in material market impact
    Recent experience in building and deploying customizable, workflow-integrable, enterprise-quality systems.
    Recent experience building end user friendly portals
    Recent experience building RESTful micro-services in the cloud
    Recent experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies


    For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below.

    Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training.

    This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.

    Salary Range

    $217,500 - $326,250 USD

    Location-flex: Similar to other companies' remote policies, for OneTrust "Location-flex" roles , you will primarily work from your home office location.

    However, you may be require d to travel to our OneTrust office s or customer sites periodically based on the nature of your role.
