    Summary:

    The mission of Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN, is to make profound, positive differences in the lives of local people with disabilities every day, and to change the way our community defines and views disability. Each year, the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center serves more than 5, individuals in a 30-county area.

    The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time or full-time Occupational Therapist to work as a contract First Steps therapist. Make your own schedule with flexible hours and work with our team of multi-disciplinary therapists. Provide services in Vanderburgh, Gibson, and/or Posey County. Our agency provides the appropriate training, guidance and support needed to be successful. We have a mentoring program for new graduates or those with limited pediatric experience.

  • This is a contract position. As such, the contractor who fills this role will not be an employee of Easterseals Rehabilitation Center.
  • Contractors receive a form NEC annually.
  • Additional specific information regarding contract requirements, payment, and details of the First Steps program will be discussed upon receipt of application.

    • Basic Responsibilities:

    The ideal candidate will:

  • Excel in providing occupational therapy services to clients and their families within the client's home or community.
  • Conduct visits with clients age 0-3 who are enrolled in the First Steps Program.

    • This position does require travel.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university program with Indiana Occupational Therapy license.
  • Must have reliable transportation, maintain a valid driver's license, and have valid car insurance.
  • Must adhere to all requirements of the Indiana First Steps program.
