Job summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.Duties and Responsibilities
- Lock doors in hallways as required by the principal- Assist with snow removal on sidewalks and steps
- Keep custodial closet neat and orderly
- Daily removal of litter on school grounds
- Sweep floor and wet mop if necessary
- Dust all furniture, windowsills, baseboards, shelves and blackboard trays
- Remove marks from walls, furniture, woodwork,
doorsand light fixtures - Clean chalkboards when necessary/li>Clean window when necessary/li>Empty wastepaper basketsand pencil sharpeners
- Lock all windowsand doorswhen completed/li>Scour sinks/li>Fille towel cabinetsand soap dispensersif applicable(li)Run sweeperon floors daily/
- Sweep,mop,and buff halls whencrequired
