    Eligible for a $2, less taxes) sign on bonus, paid out in installments with a work commitment.

    Summary:


    The purpose of this position is to provide emergent care and transportation for patients, in a professional and competent manner.

    This position requires flexibility, regular attendance, the understanding that position responsibilities may vary at times, the need to be receptive to additional responsibilities that may be reasonably assigned by the Supervisor and the knowledge that processes are subject to change per organizational growth.


    Responsibilities:

    • Initial assessment and ongoing evaluation
    • Records accurate and complete documentation
    • Relays proper and adequate information to Emergency Department.
    • Maintains the upkeep of the Ambulances
    • Rotating assignment of scheduling
    • May assist with providing hospital-wide security services when not performing EMS functions
    • Maintains a safe environment which includes knowing and understanding of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
    • Report and directly address identified environmental hazards when appropriate.
    • Report and directly address violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
