    Responsibilities

    Marketing Communications Specialist

    This role is responsible for handling and providing support in the areas of compliance, employee relations, onboarding processes, performance management, various reporting tasks, HRIS data entry and related processes, and delivery of ad-hoc programs/initiatives as needed.

    This role is also intended to cooperate and partner with the teams in payroll, benefits administration, leave of absence administration, facility operations, and legal.


    Duties & Responsibilities
    The Content Strategist is responsible for supporting the goals, priorities, and initiatives of the company by:

    • Supporting the creation of PCG's print and digital communications materials and company literature
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and execute content for marketing communications campaigns

    Specific Responsibilities:

    • Assists in the coordination of communications to the workforce on matters related to Human Capital.
    • Provide counsel to management staff on performance matters including guidance on disciplinary action and performance improvement plans.
    • Responsible for effectively identifying, investigating, and recommending resolution of employee relations issues.
    • Ensure accurate and timely data entries into HRIS system (ADP) and related technologies. Ensure production and delivery of required personnel change letters.
    • Development and maintenance of HR related metrics and reports from HR systems and performs analysis on results.
    • Understands and provides counsel on employment law and regulations with a focus on the continual improvement of knowledge base in the legal and human resources disciplines.
    • Performs other duties as necessary to support business objectives, including, but not limited to providing support to other functional areas of HR.
    • Manages the development, dissemination, and understanding of applicable policies with the subcontractors in the project.
    • Develops SOPs in the areas of onboarding processes, assessment of internal recruiting practices, and disciplinary practices.
    • Maintains and refines corrective action documents, their dissemination and proper use.
    • Maintains and procures the production and storage of digital personnel files in accord to applicable federal and state law.
    • Participates and develops training materials for supervisory body on matters of policy, discipline, law updates and new requirements.
    • Informs and keeps management up-to-date of relevant labor law updates as well as participates in planning as to how the business can adapt to these.
    • Closely cooperates with Payroll as needed to keep the business compliant onhour and wageregulations as dictated by federal and state law.
    • Supports other HR and administrative duties as required.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to build effective relationships with HR team and hiring managers.
    • Outstanding follow-up skills and ability to work independently while remaining accountable

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures.
    • Proven ability to work well in a fast pace, deadline-oriented environment.
    • Outstanding PC skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of applicant tracking applications.
    • Demonstrated ability to create recruitment strategies for a wide range of positions

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

    Compensation

    Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

    As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role:
    $ 65, ,000 yearly and a potential discretionary bonus of up to ??? %. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
