DESCRIPTION
:
The Supply Chain
Senior Manager
for our Healthcare and Wellness business unit,
will play a pivotal role in
team leadership, developing Supply Chain strategy, vendor management
within our supply chain operations
.
This role will also lead the
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of supply chain principles
and the ability to turn those principles into practice
.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of Site Supply Chain Managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to achieve team and individual goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the supply chain team.
Identify opportunities for improvement in supply chain processes, systems, and technologies.
Lead S&OP Process and Provide Exceptional Customer Service
Lead S&OP process for the Business group including Demand Planning, Supply
Planning
and the core process.
Drive site level Supply review to ensure we can meet customer expectations.
Work with teams to deliver 95%+ service levels to our customers.
Vendor Management
Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to optimize pricing and terms.
Inventory Management
Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal levels, minimizing excess or shortage risks.
Implement inventory optimization strategies to improve turnover and reduce holding costs.
Cost Management
Drive cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain, identifying opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Analyze financial data related to supply chain operations and develop budgets and forecasts.
Risk Management:
Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, shortages, and geopolitical factors.
Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply chain operations in the face of unforeseen events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, Finance, and IT, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
Communicate supply chain performance metrics and insights to stakeholders across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management
, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
experience
Proven experience
10 years
in supply chain management, with a track record of success in leadership roles.
Experience with a Healthcare manufacturing environment is a plus.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, and logistics.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Certifications such as APICS (CPIM, CSCP), Six Sigma, or similar are a plus.
Willingness to travel as needed.
