- Performs techniques such as tissue culture, PCR, immunohistochemistry, electrophoresis, protein purification and others

Overview
The mission of the Nutrition and Vision Research Laboratory (LNVR) is to discover mechanisms of aging in the eye and seek nutritional and other means to delay age-related vision impairments.
Under close supervision of Principal Investigator and other lab members, the technician conducts a variety of routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include monitoring and feeding laboratory animals, performing assays, tissue culture, electrophoresis, and other laboratory techniques.

Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
