    About the Role:

    In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of our systems, both commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom solutions. The Senior Manager, Global Systems will lead the development of our IT department's application development strategy and influence a global team with 2 direct reports.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Oversee the development and maintenance of global systems, encompassing both COTS and custom solutions.
    • Lead strategic planning activities and actively participate in the development of future-state roadmaps.
    • Understand organizational business requirements and align IT initiatives.
    • Lead and manage the identification and acquisition of new software, including renewals, to enhance our system capabilities.
    • Lead and manage 3rd party vendor software acquisition processes, covering quotes, purchases, implementation, deployment, support, and maintenance.
    • Adopt and roll-out systems development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
    • Develop strong customer relationships to identify and resolve business issues and determine system priorities, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.
    • Oversee the development of project-related Action Plans or Schedules.
    • Ensure monthly customer updates are published to keep stakeholders informed of progress and developments.
    • Develop system-related policies, guidelines, standards, and processes to maintain consistency and security within the organization.

    The Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution/college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
    • A minimum of 7-10 years of Information Technology experience is essential, with 4-year background in people management.
    • Candidates should possess 2 years of hands-on application development. Experience developing and executing a long-term IT strategy.
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience leading 3rd party vendor software acquisition and professional services activities.
    • Experience with systems development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
    • Knowledge of NIST cybersecurity framework and best practices.
    • An understanding of IT SOX Compliance regulations.
