- Maintain a strong SOX controls environment and document accurate SOX filings
- Prepare Form 10-Q and annual Form 10-K filings, along with quarterly Earning Releases
- Manage data control in the firm's proprietary system, reporting software and GL
- Track important deliverables, being able to work closely with other departments of the firm
- Work heavily in Microsoft Excel, utilizing, Pivot Tables, V-lookups and SUMMIFs
- Assist in ad-hoc reporting projects as needed
- A Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
- A CPA is strongly preferred
- At least 3 years of experience working at an asset management firm or financial institution
- SEC reporting experience and strong GAAP compliance experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel in a professional setting – proficiency in Pivot Tables, V-lookups, SUMMIFS. Experience with VBA and Macros is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, as this individual will be communicating with multiple divisions
