    Role Summary:
    My client are seeking a talented DevOps Software Engineer to enhance their team.

    This role involves significant responsibilities in developing and managing software systems that meet rigorous standards for high-stakes defense and space applications.

    You will work in a dynamic environment where collaboration and the ability to handle complex technical challenges are paramount.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and enhance software configuration processes.
    • Develop automated testing frameworks and conduct quality assurance to ensure high standards.
    • Maintain and improve continuous integration and deployment setups using tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, and Docker.
    • Oversee the creation and management of repositories, coding standards, and software build processes.
    • Develop and support software installation scripts and manage software builds.
    • Conduct performance analysis and regression testing on a regular basis.
    • Engage in technical decisionmaking and support writing test plans and procedures.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 25 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
    • Strong understanding of objectoriented design, client/server architecture, and distributed computing.
    • Expertise in multiple programming languages, data structures, and software design techniques.
    • Experience with systems administration and cloud platforms.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a highstakes environment.
    • U.S. Citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is necessary.
    • A current DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance is preferred.
