Description
Position Summary:
The Occupational Therapist performs a comprehensive evaluation of each patient and designs individual programs of treatment.
The goal is to guide patients suffering from injury or disease towards full restoration of function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
In addition, they promote patients' overall fitness and health. Occupational therapists work with health-care teams. Practicing within the scope of New York State Law. Works within multidisciplinary treatment teams. Supervises COTAS (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants) and techs.Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
