    The Parts Division is seeking an experienced Manufacturing & Quality Engineer.

    Our turbine engineering service teams of project managers, technical directors, shop personnel and consulting turbine-generator engineers are supported by a complete network of field engineering resources, enabling us to provide true turnkey outage management.

    Ownership of production planning and operational streamlining. Ownership of CAM, Manufacturing Quality, and Advanced Manufacturing Development.

    Computer Aided Machining (CAM) and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming of lathes and mills on a variety of machines types/configurations.

    CAM software is GibbsCAM CNC interface is g
    • Code and m Code.
    Ownership of CAM/CNC standard processes and strategy development for our current structured product lines. Drive incremental improvements in quality and speed of these processes. Maintain revision controlled documentation of the process.

    Ownership of revision controlled process instruction by documentation of tribal knowledge at a shop floor levelDevelop new CAM/CNC standard processes and strategies for additional product lines.

    Create revision controlled documentation of the process. Support manufacturing process improvements in tooling, fixturing, and sequence of operations. Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD)
    • Utilize 3D CADD tools to create manufacturing solid models as needed.
    Quality Control/Improvement
    • Support the make parts operation by performing in process inspections, and final Quality verifications.
    Maintain & analyze the data collected from the inspections to help drive continuous improvement of the business & resolve repetitive Quality problems. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering
    • Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Degree (or similar)Minimum of 2 years in similar shop floor environmentQuality measurement system knowledge (CMM or Romer Arm equivalent)Proficiency in current PC technology & effective use of software to create forms/documents, CAD capability desirable.
