    Job SummaryRAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is looking for aClinic Supervisorto join our team.

    As a Clinic Supervisor, you will be accountable for the operational aspects of the center, including the supervision of the front office associates and technologists, ensuring delivery of quality patient care and services.

    This is a full-time position working 40 hours.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Patient ImagingScreens patients before examination for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examinationExplains and prepares patients for procedures that will be performed,explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned and providing patient support by talking to patients throughout the procedurePerforms routine and advanced radiologic procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeatsAdjusts scan parameters correctly and as neededAccurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)Converses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required, ensuring a high quality patient service is deliveredFollows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers(10%) Center OperationsEvaluates current processes to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectivesAssists with the budget and makes responsible financial decisions for the centerProvides ongoing and timely communication to management and staff regarding center performance, staff performance, events, issues, etc.

    Promotes and motivates good customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors and other associatesEnsures compliance with state regulations and internal policies regarding documentation and tracking of safety and licensing-related itemsInterfaces with Company Radiologists to create and maintain up-to-date protocol manuals for all modalitiesMaintains a safe, clean and orderly environment for patients, technologists, radiologists and any other center associates with the assistance of the center safety coordinatorOversees and orders appropriate supplies as necessary following company guidelines on inventory controlResearches and resolves issues or complaints with regard to patients, customers, referring physicians and their staffDevelops and administers written protocols ensuring all procedures meet required standardsEnsures compliance of safety standards such as OSHA, radiation safety standard precautions and infection control policiesResponsible for maintaining ACR equipment accreditationPerforms functions of technologist or front office as needed and as qualified(10%) Staff SupervisionEnsures comprehensive knowledge of company policies, procedures and protocols for all technologists and front office staffAssists in staff planning and hiring process along with managementOversees and assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertiseSupports and conducts training efforts for continuing educationEstablishes employee schedules to provide for planned vacations and time offLeads staff meetings and employee one-on-onesParticipates in staff performance evaluations and development of associates including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/or termination of associatesImplements strategies to promote teamwork within the center and with other associates, including management and radiologists(5%) Performs other duties as assignedRequirementsGraduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiographyARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing, with advanced certifications as appropriate for assigned modalityLicensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicableMust have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independentlyCurrent Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification3-5 years of related medical experience, preferably in outpatient radiology imagingPreferred:
