Job Summary The clinician is a professional nurse who is an expert in the care of a specified patient population/subspecialty area.
The clinician assumes a leadership role and supervisory responsibilities in the development, organization, and implementation of care services for the specified patient population.
Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursingExperience Education and experience as follows:ADN degree with a minimum of five years recent nursing experience; a minimum of 3 years in pediatric subspecialty preferred.
ORBSN degree with a minimum of four years of recent clinical nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, preferably in outpatient settingORMSN degree with a minimum of three years recent nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, preferably outpatient settingLicensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Current RN License in the State of AlabamaCurrent BLS certificate required, BLS Instructor preferred.
