- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including month/year end close, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, including proper revenue recognition according to ASC 606 and lease accounting under ASC 842.
- Prepare and review financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations, providing explanations for variances.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecasts.
- Lead annual audit processes and implement internal control enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of corporate accounting experience, with 2 years in a leadership role.
- Preference for experience in Consumer Goods/Distribution/Manufacturing industries and familiarity with private equity environments.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP accounting software.
