Job Description:
Function in the roles of both teacher and facilitator
Maintain education and clinical nurse resource services to home care specialty services and units
Create an effective learning environment
Follow and direct home care orientation, ongoing education, staff development and competency assessment
Provide resource services to the home care management and staff, including assistance with policies and procedures, performance improvement initiatives, peer review activities, product education and evaluation
Evaluate the outcomes of staff education
Plan nursing professional development programs that are culturally relevant and incorporate concepts of multicultural and multigenerational education
Advocate for the nursing professional development programs that support the needs of the learner and the organization


Requirements:
BSN required, MSN preferred
Valid New York RN license in New York
BLS, PALS required
Able to work independently

_Please note- The annual base salary range is $80k to $120k.

Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
