    Successful candidates will need to demonstrate prior leadership in driving positive change within the Manufacturing function and having a seat at the table of the functional leadership team as well as the IT Leadership team.

    Previous positions within Manufacturing would be considered an advantageWays you will make a differenceBuild and maintain a Strong Business Partnership Work closely with the Manufacturing Leadership team to understand opportunities to continue to build manufacturing as a core competency at Ferrara.

    Infuse industry best practices in both process and technology into our thinking. Utilize business metrics to prioritize work and to measure the value provided by Ferrara IT. Lead the Digital Transformation within Manufacturing through the selection of new technologies while leveraging our existing platforms. Develop the technology strategy that matches Ferrara objectives and growth strategies and transforms manufacturing processes.

    Take a forward-looking view and suggest which emerging technology trends would present the bust lucrative business opportunities (IOT, AI, RPA, etc.).

    Partner during M & A activities to develop and execute strategies for business and system integration.

    Assess risk in business areas not adequately supported by technology and develop mitigation plans Project Sponsorship & Solution Design and Delivery Lead the effective management of the IT Manufacturing project portfolio.

    Advocate for projects that have a positive business case that aligns to corporate objectives. Provide consultation during all phases of the development of solutions.

    Work closely with and lead internal IT resources and external service providers to deliver solutions on time and on budget.

    Be an escalation point and facilitate issue resolution as necessary when projects within the portfolio are at risk in terms of Scope, Timelines and Budgets.

    External Partner Management Negotiate with software vendors, managed service providers and contractors to deliver solutions and support technologies Ensure that our strategic partners operate as an extension of the Ferrara team and are acting in the best interests of Ferrara Prepare RFPs, SOW's, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for potential new technologies and solutions Gain the appropriate thought leadership from our existing external partners Ensure that Service Level Agreements are met when it comes to beak/fixes and system bugs Application/Technology Management Inventory the systems, applications and technologies that support the assigned business areas and understand how they support the business functions Ensure the latest patch levels are in place and that Ferrara is fully exploiting the capabilities of our applications Utilize our existing technology investments before investing in other solutions that could be redundant Understand the full implications of application security and compliance ensuring that our People, Processes and Technologies are compliant and meet all relevant audit requirements Manage budgets including operating costs for services as wells as capital investments to upgrade, refresh and extend our platforms.

    Skills that will make you successful Strategic thinking and planning Management of Capital Investments and Expenses Deep knowledge of systems and technology driven processes in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Leadership skills in directing staff to achieve objectives Mentorship, Coaching and Career Development Persuasive communication and advocacy Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Discuss technical topics in a user-friendly language Highly self-motivated and directed Experiences that will support your success Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university or 10 to 15 years of IT and business/industry work experience.

    10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of Manufacturing Systems with a large CPG company or a consulting firm specializing in IT Solutions for Manufacturing.

    5+ years' experience utilizing SAP Technologies within the Manufacturing space including, but not limited to ECC, S/4 Hana, EWM as well as core integration platforms and adjacent technologies to support Manufacturing (Eg. Rockwell Automation, Red Zone, Blue Yonder, etc.) Relevant Certifications such as ITIL, Agile Development, APICS, CPIM, etc.

    A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience and developing and executing strategic plans and/or project portfolios or an equivalent combination of education Experience in rolling our large-scale, transformational platforms.
