    Position Description
    Position Summary:
    The Estimator is responsible for winning work by developing and delivering precise, detailed, and competitive estimates for masonry projects. Ensuring accuracy and profitability while aligning with the company's objectives and industry standards.
    Essential Job Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for winning work and meeting monthly bid and sales goals.
    • Responsible for bidding work accurately, competitively, and on time.
    • Responsible for completing accurate and precise take-offs.
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining working relationships with customers.
    • Responsible for producing complete bid packages and all requested items to builders.
    • Be a point of contact for builders and act as their Customer Representative.
    • Responsible for understanding builders' philosophies, hierarchy, bid format, and presentation requirements.
    • Produce accurate and informative preconstruction transmittals for each project.
    • Assist with obtaining necessary permits.
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
    Position Requirements
    Experience, Educational, and Additional Requirements:
    • Minimum of 2-years construction experience required / or BA degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other similar fields of study.
    • Pass the company's Driver Approval Process required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software required.
    • Must work well under pressure and deadlines.
    • Must have a likeable personality and ability to get along with customers.
    • Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends when necessary.
    • Must be organized and detailed orientated.
    • Must have the ability to read plans and engineering (i.e. architectural, shop drawings, and structural, and civil plans, etc.).
    • Must have strong negotiation skills.
    • Must have both excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be able to lift 50lb.
    • OSHA 10 card required.
    • Pass mandatory employment drug test required.
    • Must be able to read and write in English and/or Spanish at a level sufficient to follow safety instructions, complete required documentation accurately, and communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
