**Shift/Hours:** 1st Shift, Mondays-Thursdays 5:00am-3:00pm
**Position Status:** Full-Time, Temporary. This position would work between the months of September through November, with the possibility of staying on past November.

Our Facilities Teams function as support for all employees and areas of our facilities.
**The Role:**
As a custodian, your role is critical to the cleanliness of the facility and safety and health of all co-workers. This position is responsible for cleaning, routine maintenance, and repairs of buildings and grounds by performing essential duties and responsibilities as assigned. The goal with this position is to create and maintain a safe and clean work environment. This position is temporary, working full-time hours until November with the possibility of working slightly longer than November.
Job Details Level: Entry Position Type: Full-Time Winona, MN Salary Range: $14.00 $16.00 Hourly Job Shift: 1st Shift Job Category: Facilities/Custodian Company & Position Summary Responsibilities & Qualifications **You will spend your time:**
Cleaning building floors by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and vacuuming
Cleaning, polishing office tables, chairs, desks and all other furniture used in the office or the entire building
Dusting mechanical devices like monitors, desktops, printers, and any other device
Cleaning windows, doors, glasses and mirrors with soapy water, sponge and any other necessary cleaning substance
Emptying waste and recyclable bins
Maintaining the supply and equipment needed for cleaning duties
Restocking or resupplying restroom supplies and making sure the toilet is in a good condition
Emptying trash cans
Completing routine heavy cleaning. (floor stripping, waxing, etc.)
Moving heavy equipment and furniture
Completing minor equipment repair.
Ensuring spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
Washing and sanitizing toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap, lotion, towels)
Communicating items needed for work
Documenting inspections and other maintenance activities
**We are excited about you if you have:**
The ability to manage your time efficiently and without direct supervision.
The ability to lift at least 50 pounds, frequently.
Adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations
Experience with basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning and other janitorial work.
The ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
The ability to work with various machinery to include, but not limited to snow blower, lawn mower, floor scrubber, power tools, etc.
The ability to ensure company standards are correctly maintained with constant monitoring of cleanliness.
The availability to work flexible hours early mornings and overtime when needed.
