Job summary
Outside Commercial Lines sales position responsible for driving business sales retention and growing existing client revenue manage client relationships and drive profitability satisfaction and organic growth.
Responsibilities
- Achieve annualized new business sales of $175k in our target market of companies at least $10mm in sales within a specific industry.
- Work with Practice Leader to declare a primary industry specialization vertical May also choose a secondary vertical that is aligned with primary vertical.
- Retrain at least 92% of business year over year Meet new business activity quality appointment goals Use USI resources to research prospects develop customized messaging for prospects Understand explain USI competitive differentiation to clients prospects Develop sales business plan use effective prospecting strategies Innovate for clients using market knowledge advanced understanding technical insurance issues Take part national regional vertical meetings video calls Engage meetings preparing first appointments advancing closing retaining business Use USIs contact management sales automation tools support sales processes Input timely accurate information facilitate sales revenue projections engage technical resources Participate IUSIs industry training support programs Pursue cross-selling opportunities enhance prospect client relationships Collaborate account management team significant account management services clients Demonstrate strong knowledge competitors Positively represent IUSi meetings seminars trade shows networking events
