The Department of Radiology at the Penn State Health Milton S.Hershey Medical Center and Penn State University College of Medicine is seeking a full-time subspecialty trained radiologist to serve in the Division of Breast Imaging.
This is a non-tenure position and awarded academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
This position will provide on-site radiology coverage for our academic practice, which includes our East Campus interdisciplinary breast center in Hershey, an outpatient breast imaging clinic in Camp Hill, and the interdisciplinary Lime Spring center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Comprehensive breast services include digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, ABUS, MRI, Savi Scout localizations, and image-guided core biopsy (stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI).
The breast imaging team works collaboratively with breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and pathologists to provide multidisciplinary care to our patients as well as outreach programs to increase screening participation in our local community.
Breast radiologists do not take overnight or weekend call.
A passion for teaching is essential as the education of our medical students, residents, and staff is a core value of our academic mission.
There is opportunity for clinical research through collaboration with our Division of Radiology Innovation and Value Enhancement (DRIVE) dedicated to outcomes research in imaging and diagnostic pathways.
The DRIVE team has two full-time data analysts and works with our central data team to provide advanced data mining and analysis support for healthcare innovation and investigator-initiated research projects.
