    This role is within the Residential Services organization and will be responsible for owning business unit data, reporting and analysis capabilities to proactively generate insights that optimize strategic decisions. They will report directly to business unit leadership, but will influence Product Managers, Advanced Analytics, Connected Services, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders through modeling, and analysis and data-driven recommendations and providing critical insights to drive informed decision making.
    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work autonomously on complex problems to influence business unit and functional leadership through modeling and analysis
    • Lead and directly engage in the design, development, and deployment of analytical models and solutions, including predictive and prescriptive outputs to enable business stakeholders to achieve our objectives
    • Own modeling and forecasting of business trajectory based on changes in internal capabilities, go-to-market strategies and competitive/market landscape
    • Proactively produce executive-level verbal and written analyses, insights, and reports that support proactive data-driven recommendations
    • Leverage knowledge gained from hands-on daily interactivity with myQ data and platforms to provide insights on key metrics & trends that enhance customer awareness, adoption, engagement and retention strategies
    • Identify and apply innovative analytical techniques to achieve business objectives
    • Measure and analyze return on investment and customer acquisition costs for cross-functional business initiatives
    • Develop, maintain and monitor standardized & custom tools and reports utilizing internal data, partner data, external market data, and business needs to scale Residential Services revenue generation
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure proper data architecture and processes are utilized to ingest data; Transform unstructured data with data manipulation processes using Spark/SQL to create structured, scalable solutions
    • Partner with Engineering, Connected Services, Marketing and Advanced Analytics teams to ensure all metrics and definitions are accurate and sound; Enhance definitions and scope as business needs change
    • Architect data solutions that can be re-used across multiple reporting tools and within various applications, dashboards and reports to support cross-functional needs
    • Lead cross-disciplinary teams to incorporate data from other CG-based systems and platforms to establish governance and ensure data quality
    • Collaborate with data visualization analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and other developers to design and ensure effective development of new capabilities; Engage with developers and end users to plan, design, and execute data validation and user acceptance testing
    • Advise stakeholders and developers on requirement prioritization, including refinements to the data and analytics development backlog
    • Proactively identify potential downstream implications associated with myQ functionality and data changes; Ensure myQ data changes are documented, assessed, tested, and aligned across technical teams to avoid unanticipated downstream effects
    • Champion data and analytics for the Residential Business Unit (RBU) and across the organization through active engagement in the Analytics Community of Practice and the network of data and analytics associates across CG
    • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
    • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
    • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, or another related field
    • Demonstrated knowledge of data management and data engineering related to B2C and B2B streaming / near real-time data sources including data visualization platforms such as Power BI, unifying software platforms such as Databricks and data management with SAP ERP
    • Experience manipulating data and creating complex ETL processes to build logical data schemas/models that support multiple reports or business applications
    • Experience working with large, unstructured data volumes
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make quality decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to effectively lead projects from conception to conclusion, both independently and in a team environment (including working with both internal and external business partners)
    • Strong SQL skills
    • Strong understanding of data warehouse/data modeling concepts and procedures
    • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to deliver thought-provoking analysis and provide clear, concise recommendations
    • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MBA or Masters degree in related field
    • Power BI Development and Design-related certification
    • Minimum of 8 years of work experience within Analytics/Business Intelligence, leading projects building actionable, data-driven recommendations
    • Experience with IoT, SaaS and/or smart consumer products & services
    • Experience working with customer-facing digital experiences, including end-to-end customer acquisition and engagement processes within mobile applications or parallel platforms
    • Experience with Salesforce, SAP, CDP platforms such as Tealium
    • Experience with Project Management/Tracking tools such as Jira
    • Experience building and creating web-based data visualization
    • Experience creating semantic data layers that support organizational self-service analytics within Azure Cloud architecture
    • Strong understanding of financial concepts and analytics
    • Working with a software/technology organization
