Job Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Specialized Services, the Mental Health Counselor provides educationally related mental health services to district students referred for assistance to facilitate and promote appropriate behavioral health and personal growth. The Mental Health Counselor identifies the educationally related behavioral and mental health needs of students and develops counseling goals and objectives for implementation through an individual education program.

Experience in Medi-Cal billing is desired. Experience in the behavioral health plan process is desired.
Valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences Licensure (BBS) desired
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker desired
