    Internal Medicine physician job in Florida :

    Health System based in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking Internal Medicine Faculty Physicians to provide clinical patient care and be responsible to teach and advise internal medicine residents.Candidates for this position will be experts in evaluating competencies and will work closely with the Program Director and Associate Program Director to develop and implement a resident evaluation system.

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Faculty physicians will dedicate an average of 15 hours per week to the program
    • Teaching, supervising, and evaluating internal medicine residents using real-time face to face feedback
    • Participate in remediation of residents
    • Participate in resident?s didactic conferences including ? M&M, EBM, journal club, daily morning report, noon conferences as a lecturer, etc.
    • Attend faculty and department of medicine meetings
    • Participate in the following committees: Clinical Competency, Program Evaluation, and Resident Selection

    About Fort Myers, Florida

    Fort Myers is situated at the convergence of the Caloosahatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico. Fort Myers is located in Lee County. It's the center of government as well as the commercial center for the county. It's recognized as the gateway to the popular tourist area located in the Southwest portion of the state of Florida, including Sanibel Island.

    The Ft. Myers area is well known for its beautiful beaches as well as numerous resort hotels. Plenty of shopping opportunities are located on the Tamiami Trail. The coastline provides excellent opportunities for fishing. The Ft. Myers area includes a vast amount of quality golf courses that are ideal for vacationing golf enthusiasts.

    Fort Myers is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts. The area offers miles of freshwater and saltwater channels for boating and fishing; trails for biking, hiking, and paddling; and golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools, and shuffleboard courts. With its proximity to Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach, the area is also a gateway for shelling, snorkeling, and sunbathing.
