    Job Description
    The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Coordinator, SNAP-Ed Adult Program.

    This position will work from the UNR Extension County office located in

    Reno, NV . The Coordinator, SNAP-Ed Adult Program will work under the Nutrition Education Programs Sr.

    Coordinator to coordinate statewide SNAP-Ed program operations that serve adult audiences (for example, but not limited to, adults in SNAP Employment & Training programs, adults recovering from substance use, older adults, food systems) in addition to providing grant support to northern region implementing counties.

    The incumbent will be on the state-level SNAP-Ed administrative team and work to strengthen cohesion of the SNAP-Ed program, bolster local implementation, ensure all staff follow necessary grant protocols and provide support to SNAP-Ed subaward and contracting agencies.

    The Coordinator with have a strong understanding of statewide programming objectives and work closely with administrative and academic faculty to ensure grant work aligns with university, state and federal expectations.

    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience;

    OR
    Master's degree and one (1) year of related work experience

    Related Experience:
    Public health, nutrition sciences, health sciences; educational program planning, implementation, or a related field

    Supervision and coaching

    Schedule and Travel Requirements
    Travel within the state with overnight stays to implement programming and

    assist/educate/monitor

    and provide project support to grant personnel and Extension Educators

    Out-of-state travel required for conferences and meetings

    Some nights and weekends

    Compensation Grade
    The budgeted salary range for this position is ($63,000 - $65,205)
    Salary is based on related education and experience, internal equity and budgets.
