- Generates revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach in prospective and current Ohio CAT customers.
- Set sales plans, budgets, objectives, strategies, and initiatives to fulfill the growth and revenue goals of the business unit, and ensure the maximum sales volume and maximum direct margin contribution.
- Recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining a driven sales team to effectively prospect, develop, and close new account sales.
- Provide day to day leadership and direction to the sales team in maintaining and expanding customer relationships.
- Develop strong customer relationships directly with key strategic accounts.
- Must be engaged and present for customer visits, demos, events, quoting, and consultations.
- Must be engaged and present for applicable regional industry association meetings and events.
- At times Overnight stays in the territory and longer extended stays out of territory required.
- Must have permanent residence in the area of responsibility, which is Western Ohio.
- Proven ability to develop, maintain, and grow key customer relationships at various levels.
- Demonstrated leadership talent, with the ability to motivate all levels of employees by virtue of keen business acumen, excellent judgment, professional competence, credibility, flexibility, and personal integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in the Microsoft suite of business software and other industry specific programs.
- High School Diploma.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing preferred, plus 5 years experience in construction sales, industrial sales, commercial sales, or service industry environment sales.
- Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
