    TDP Bakery is an established company that manufactures and self-distributes to thousands of locations nightly.

    This formerly small family business has expanded rapidly over the past five years but still maintains the benefits of a close-knit culture and entrepreneurial spirit.

    Our combined bakeries manufacture millions of fresh bakery items every week, and our distribution teams drive enough miles each day to circle the earth to ensure that our consumers can enjoy something truly fresh.


    Summary:
    The Sr.

    Technology Manager is the primary technology and information systems owner for end-to-end needs in a fast-paced organization that depends on system reliability and data accuracy across a network of bakeries, distribution centers, delivery vehicles, and field merchandising teams.

    The Sr.

    Technology Manager owns most aspects of technology, including security, infrastructure strategy, digital technology, hardware, support, and various aspects of overall system functionality and business enablement.

    The Sr. Manager partners closely with our Sr.

    Programmer, who owns functionality of core planning systems, and will partner with external support where needed to supplement time and/or expertise (we are not expecting a unicorn).

    The ideal candidate will strive to deeply understand the business and have a strong bias toward improving the company with a service-minded approach.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    Short-Term / First 180 Days:
    Solidify technology support and define roadmap
    Learn core business and understand the role of technology in the organization, with priorities for support and risk management.
    Gain command of current technology environment, ownership, and support needs.
    Ensure business continuity.
    Manage effective Help Desk, including incident, problem, service, and change management.
    Accomplish some "quick wins" to improve the day-to-day employee and client experience with the company's technology ecosystem.

    Long-Term:
    build repeatable processes and "DNA" to create sustainable value.
    Co-create quantifiable technology roadmap with executive sponsorship.
    Review or create foundational documentation and processes to support key technologies.

    Provide strategic direction on the application of technology; work with functional leaders to deliver technology solutions that enable the organization to meet growth objectives.

    Actively oversee implementation of upgraded ERP system, to include training of internal partners.

    Specialized or Technical Knowledge:
    7+ years' experience in a technology leadership role.
    Small to mid-sized company experience within a small technology team. Experience supporting remote locations is strongly preferred.
    Mid-market ERP, CRM, and EDI system experience, including implementation experience.
    Experience in CPG (consumer packaged goods) or manufacturing preferred.
    Proven ability to assess existing

    architectures/situations

    and define/execute improvement plans.

    Required Skills/Experience:
    Strong proficiency of help desk and core technology support (user management, computers, phones, servers, wireless networks, VPN, etc.).
    Strong command of Microsoft Suite, including MS365, Azure AD, and Teams.
    Oversight of physical/virtual servers - AWS, SQL Servers, etc.
    Data visualization experience (Tableau preferred).
    Demonstrated capability to define technology needs aligning to business goals and establish improvement roadmap.

    Demonstrated project management of small and large projects, with the ability to be "hands on" to ensure system adoption throughout the teams.

    Ability to partner with external resources for projects, network support, and core system upgrades.
    Software evaluation and administration.
    Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, wherein colleagues have diverse levels of expertise and exposure to technology
    Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    Take ownership of providing support during off-hours for high-priority issues, ensuring prompt response and resolution.

    Lead the establishment of proactive preventive processes aimed at identifying and addressing potential issues before they escalate into critical incidents.

    This includes implementing robust monitoring systems, automated alerting mechanisms, and proactive maintenance routines across the technology infrastructure.

    This role is based out of our Chandler, AZ, headquarters, but other markets will be considered for the right candidate.

    Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Candidates who require sponsorship, either at present or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
